Is there a charge to park on campus?

Yes, unfortunately there is no gratis parking for guests.

NOTE: FAU students, faculty, and staff pay for annual parking permits. However FAU does offer the following options:

Temporary permits

By purchasing a temporary ePermit you will be entitled to park in any of our blue lots. A temporary ePermit may be obtained via the ParkMobile app which can be downloaded from the Apple Appstore or Google Playstore.  

Meters
Meters and Metered Lots are available for visitors coming to our campus for short periods of time. You can pay for the multispace meters at different locations around the campus. 

All meters are enforced 24/7.

  • Cash NOT Accepted
  • $2.50 per hour
  • There are NO Refunds

IMPORTANT:
Only vehicles without an FAU ePermit will be allowed to park at the meters. If you have a problem with a meter, please contact the office at 561-297-2771.
